The Crank Up is a manually operated roof mounted satellite system from industry leaders Maxview, designed to receive satellite TV (including Sky and Freesat) and radio in the UK and Europe.

It really couldn’t be easier to operate using the internal handle to lower, raise and position the dish.

This simple to install system is ideal for professionals or an average DIYer. Once installed the dish has a low aerodynamic profile of just 17cm in its collapsed position.

Even better, there will be no more getting soaked whilst setting the dish up on site as everything is controlled from inside the vehicle using the easy operating ergonomic crank, which features an accurate alignment readout, so you know when the dish is at the correct angle of elevation.

Sky's The Limit

The Maxview Crank Up Roof Mounted Satellite Dish is to replace my Maxview Precision ID Tripod Satellite Dish to gain additional height to overcome a lack of line of sight signal associated with the low level tripod dish when on sites with foliage.
Given the levels of success with the tripod dish, where such foliage posed no issue, I have no reason to assume the same, if not increased, levels of success will be achieved with the roof mounted version of which, in effect, is the identical set up, with the advantage of added height. The unit is manufactured to the same high standard as all Maxview products and I look forward to continuing to enjoy my Sky viewing away from home in the future.

Didn't say maximum roof depth in sales info or nowhere in fitting instructions.
I new this might be a problem with my installation. Now trying to get longer control rod's.
But seams to be good quality system
