The AT-LP7X fully manual belt-drive turntable blends analogue excellence with style and versatility. Featuring a dense MDF plinth and acrylic platter to minimise unwanted resonance and vibration, this elegant, matte-black turntable delivers sound that’s just as clean and refined as its appearance.
In designing the LP7X, Audio-Technica paid special attention to chassis geometry, ensuring that the platter, spindle, and tonearm were optimally positioned for accurate, distortion-free tracking.
The J-shaped aluminium tonearm, inspired by classic A-T models of the 1960s and ’70s, features a dual-axis gimbal with precision ball bearings to further enhance tracking performance.
Versatile Cartridge Configuration
Combined, the turntable’s AT-VM95 cartridge, VTA (vertical tracking angle) adjustment, and 16 g sub counterweight expand your configuration options.
Smooth, Accurate Rotation
The stainless-steel spindle features a thermal-plastic, sheet-type bearing at its base, ensuring low-friction rotation that’s precisely maintained at 33-1/3 or 45 RPM by the turntable’s speed-sensor system.
Acrylic Platter
The high-density acrylic platter dampens vibrations for supremely quiet playback, allowing the brilliance and detail of your vinyl records to shine through.
Excellent Tracking
The chassis and tonearm geometry of the AT-LP7X have been designed to ensure optimal lateral tracking for distortion-free playback.

- J-shaped tonearm with adjustable VTA (vertical tracking angle)
- AT-VM95E BK (black) cartridge (0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus) pre-mounted to the lightweight AT-LT10 removable headshell
- AT-VM95 cartridge is compatible with most VM95 Series replacement styli, offering a wide choice of options for every budget and application
- Included 16 g sub counterweight provides an expanded cartridge/headshell weight range of 14.0–23.5 g
- Adjustable anti-skate control to counter the inward force the styli experiences during playback
- Built-in switchable phono pre-amplifier with selectable modes for MM (moving magnet) or MC (moving coil) cartridges
- Includes dual RCA (male) to dual RCA (male) stereo cable with ground, 45 RPM adapter, and removable dust cover
